At Viva Community Yoga we take your data seriously. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why we use it and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
If you join the waiting list, we collect your name and email to let you know when we open a new edition of Yoga For Life, send you your discount code and share information about the training.
If you subscribe, we use your name and email to send you regular updates about our classes, events, trainings and yoga content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
If you message us on WhatsApp from the website, we process your name, phone number and the content of your messages to reply to you and manage your class bookings or training enrolment.
If you buy a class, a pass or a training, we process your identification, contact and billing details to manage your enrolment, take payment and issue the corresponding invoice. Payments are made through secure platforms (Stripe for cards and PayPal): we never see or store your card details.
We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties. We do work with some service providers who may access your data as data processors, always with the safeguards required by the GDPR:
We will also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
Some of these providers (for example WhatsApp/Meta, Stripe, PayPal or Google, which serves the website's fonts) may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. In those cases, transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time, and withdraw your consent, by writing to vivacommunityyoga@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify your identity.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
You give us your data directly, through the website forms, WhatsApp or the payment process. Please make sure it is accurate and let us know if it changes.
Our services are aimed at people over 14 years of age. If you are under 14, we need the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
You can see which cookies we use and how to configure them in our Cookie Policy.
Our website may include links to other sites (for example Instagram or Google Maps). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy policies, so we recommend reviewing them.
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our services. The current version will always be published on this page, with its update date.
